This multi-family, four story, apartment building is located in the epicenter of some of Chicago's iconic landmarks. The Aragon Ballroom, host to many well-known bands and featured in major motion pictures, sits just north of the project and the Green Mill can also be found one block west. The Uptown Theatre, also a neighbor, hopefully will see major renovations soon. The Winnie, named for its location on Winthrop Avenue, has increased setbacks as a lighting and view consideration for the neighboring buildings to the south and north. 

While not copying the terra cotta-clad adjacent neighboring mixed-use building, a deliberate attempt to continue the rhythm and scale of the window pattern establishes continuity of the street wall on Winthrop Avenue.

The project features a generous ground floor lobby for use by the 84 residential unit tenants in the building, and 30 ground floor parking spaces support the adjacent commercial space on Lawrence Avenue. 

The roof amenity offers views to downtown Chicago and glimpses of Lake Michigan, as well as generous lounging and grilling areas for tenants.
